So what’s the big deal about goals?
Why do some people talk about theirs all the time and with such enthusiasm?
Do we really need them?
Many people live their lives just “fine” without them. Right?
Let me share the following with you.
There are three reasons why we set goals:
1. To give your brain direction…something meaningful to think about. It’s going to think anyway, may as well give it something useful to think.
2. To create the future you really want…because if you’re not creating your future, you’re likely simply repeating your past.
3. To live a deliberate life…a life you truly want.
This doesn’t mean you have to have huge goals.
And it doesn’t mean you have to conquer the world.
It simply means you have to start by asking yourself what you really want.
Figure it out.
Make a plan.
Live your life with purpose.
Give it some thought…
